Aim:
Students work in response to module related briefs towards developing the skills, methods and content for a body of work, linking the processes of art and creativity with the principles and practice of sustainable creativity, as it relates to individual cultural and creative practices.

DAC7001. Studio Practice 1: Reflect, research, initiate, expand
Module theme: Ko wai au/who am I, creative goals and plan
DAC7002. Studio Practice 2: Visualise, play, develop, innovate
Module theme: Innovative practices, Professional practices
DAC7003. Studio Practice 3: Present and implement
Module theme: Presentation strategies, Communications
DAC7004. Exhibition

Outcome:
On completion of the programme students will demonstrate:

A developed awareness of approach to creative method, including cultural, heritage and contemporary contexts as they apply to individual students

An understanding of professional approaches to advanced creative practice

A developed understanding of creative context, research-based practice, and innovative approaches as they relate to their individual practice

An ability to deliver a well resolved exhibition or presentation of their own work

A developed plan outlining an approach, post-programme, to working as an arts, creativity and culture sector practitioner or for further research
Entry Requirements:
120 credits at level 6 study or presentation of portfolio with evidence of works to equivalent standard and an entry interview.
