Surreal Feel framed

About the class

Keen to add a level of intrigue, mystery & perhaps the bizarre into your creativity? This Makers Week class encourages you to think outside the box and create visual images that have a surreal feel, working from life to create your own references. A fun and enjoyable way to kick of the term, suitable for all levels.

We'll look at a slide show of surreal artists, both local and international. We'll do some warm up exercises, and then work with references from still life and the figure. You'll learn to think laterally and push personal creative boundaries, and get feedback from the class about what worked, why and where things could lead next.

By the end of the class, you'll have an understanding of how to create in a surreal way, which you can then transfer to other areas of your creativity.
