About the class
This fun workshop will kick of by pulling apart an old piano and mining it for parts - see pic above for the actual piano*. Then, using your creativity, we'll turn these sourced materials into interesting and elaborate artworks. Let your imagination run wild, think big or small. Create something that hangs on a wall, or sits on a plinth, the end results are entirely up to you.
You can also choose to work in partnership with others and make one large piece together. The results could be kinetic (moving) or static, or even audible & interactive, it's all up to where your imagination takes you with these exciting materials!
*Sadly, this piano can no longer be tuned, so it can't be played. That's why it's being donated for destruction and resurrection!
