Watching Sky
An exhibition from The Learning Connexion's Restricted Programmes
This exhibition showcases the artwork of students participating in The Learning Connexion’s Restricted Programmes, which deliver NZQA-accredited creative education in corrections facilities across Aotearoa. These programmes provide a powerful outlet for self-expression, reflection, and personal growth through art.
Each piece displayed here is a testament to the resilience, creativity, and transformation of individuals engaging with their potential - often for the first time. Through painting, drawing, sculpture and more, these artists explore their stories and reconnect with their sense of identity and purpose.
We invite you to celebrate their achievements, share in their journeys, and witness the impact of creativity behind the wire.
All proceeds from artwork sales go directly into scholarships for students studying in the Restricted Programmes, helping us continue to grow and sustain this life-changing mahi.
