We need a naturally friendly, supportive and dedicated person to join our talented and diverse Restricted Programmes team. The core function of the role is to provide administrative support for students who are enrolled in our tertiary level art and creativity courses while based in Corrections facilities throughout New Zealand.
The position is located at our campus in Lower Hutt, however, visits to corrections sites with other Restricted Programmes staff may be required on a case by case basis – full training will be given.
This role is for 30 hours per week, worked over 4 days per week between 9.00am-5.00pm. Shortlisted applicants will be required to undergo a police check.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Tasks include taking phone enquiries from prospective students, co-ordinating enrolment paperwork which includes the progress of StudyLink loans, sending out enrolment paperwork and resource kits. You will be required to maintain a database of student information, collate and distribute the bi-annual newsletter and take minutes for team meetings. General administrative skills, with experience in databases, Excel, Google Docs and Outlook is preferred, however on-the-job training will be provided as required.
