Dark Room Photography

Makers Week T4.25 4

About the class

From Negative to Print: An Introduction to the Darkroom

Step into the magic of the darkroom and discover how light transforms film into finished photographs. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to read a negative, operate an enlarger, and create your own silver-gelatin prints using traditional darkroom techniques. Across the session, we’ll cover test strips, exposure, dodging and burning, and the full chemical developing process. You’ll leave with at least one finished print of your own making and the skills to continue exploring darkroom photography.
