 Programme Support Administrator

The Learning Connexion (TLC) is a tertiary school of creativity and art based in the Hutt Valley, Wellington. We are now seeking a friendly, supportive and confident person to join our Programme Support department for a 6 month fixed term, starting in January 2026. 

This is a pivotal role that requires a motivated and highly-organised individual with strong administration skills to support our diverse on-site and distant student-body on a daily basis. As a core member of our student facing team, your primary role is to provide students with excellent customer service and support to help keep their course of study on track. 

Accordingly, our ideal candidate will be an administration superstar with excellent communication skills, who will have worked in an educational environment and understand the challenges and rewards of study. 

Job tasks and responsibilities:

  • Responding to general student enquiries
  • Assisting students with their programme of study
  • Class registrations
  • Data entry and maintaining information in our student database
  • Attendance and programme tracking
  • Sending programme correspondence
  • General day to day administration tasks (that are often deadline driven)

This is an exciting fixed term position (with potential for continued employment) located at our vibrant campus in Lower Hutt. The role is to be worked 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 9.00am - 4.30pm. An interest in art and creativity is a strong advantage, but not essential.
