Love murals, street art, illustration, printmaking, or digital media?
Join us on Thursday 18 June at 6pm for a free preview workshop and information session for TLC’s brand-new Urban Art Certificate in Art & Design (NZQA Level 3), starting in Term 3.

This exciting new programme is the first of its kind in Aotearoa, offering creatives a chance to develop their skills through hands-on projects inspired by urban art culture.

Students will explore illustration, murals, lettering, character design, printmaking, digital media, and creative idea development in a supportive studio environment.

Leading the programme is TLC tutor and alumnus Liam Henderson, whose creative practice is rooted in graffiti, murals, bold colour, and contemporary urban art. Liam brings real-world experience, a passion for creativity, and a commitment to helping students build confidence and develop their own visual voice.

At the preview evening you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Meet Liam and learn about his creative journey
  • Experience a hands-on urban art activity
  • Explore the programme structure and projects
  • Learn about study options and pathways
  • Ask questions about enrolment and student life at TLC

Whether you’re a school leaver, creative beginner, or someone looking to reignite your artistic passions, this information session is a great opportunity to discover what makes TLC’s new Urban Art programme unique.
