About the class
This Makers Week focuses on ‘Setting the Stage’ for your creativity, working with Artist in Residence Robèrt Franken & CK Dan Wilkinson for 3 action-packed days, including a field trip, a day with a model & a studio day to extend your learning!
When we draw or paint the model, we are often unaware of the stage we are setting.
In this workshop, we’ll spend the first day sketching in a forest, and use these sketches the next day when working with a model.
We’ll aim to produce a series of works, becoming aware of the light and playing around with different approaches to colour. By the end of the workshop you should have some finished, perhaps Impressionist creations.
