About the class

This three-day workshop explores the creative potential of lettering, influenced by graffiti and street art. You’ll learn how letters can move beyond simple communication and become expressive visual forms. Using drawing exercises and guided experimentation, the workshop will introduce the foundations of graffiti lettering, including tags, throw-ups, and more developed letter styles.

You’ll have the opportunity to sketch, experiment, and refine your ideas while learning how structure, flow, and composition shape strong lettering. Learn to transform basic alphabets into dynamic compositions, finishing with a stylised lettering illustration or painting.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have developed your own unique lettering style and produced a finished artwork that demonstrates the evolution of your ideas from rough sketches to a refined final piece.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and artists interested in exploring new approaches to lettering and visual expression.
