About the class
Having a strong presentation package can be the difference between being noticed or being overlooked!
Eye-catching posters draw people in, well-designed business cards leave a lasting impression, and clear, engaging artist statements help audiences understand your work.
In this class, you’ll learn how to create three essential components of a professional presentation package, all within the context of preparing for an art exhibition:
Business Cards – Give visitors something to take away. Your card will include your contact details and a small example of your work, helping people remember you after the exhibition.
Artist Statements – This includes both artist biographies and artist statements, and how to write them effectively.
Posters and Flyers – Design promotional materials that grab attention and clearly communicate key information about your exhibition. Focus will be on strong visual impact and easy readability.
By the end of this class, you’ll have the foundation for a professional, cohesive presentation package that you can use immediately and continue to develop as your work evolves.
