He uri tēnei nō Ngāti Kahungunu ki Wairarapa rāua ko Rangitāne anō hoki, ko Bailie Sims tōku ingoa. Bailie was born and raised in the Wairarapa and has lived in Te Whanganui-a-Tara since 2020. Bailie loves supporting rangatahi to fulfil their potential in all areas of life and enjoys helping to navigate and overcome any challenges along the way.
Bailie has worked with rangatahi of all ages, from early childhood to primary school, right up to tertiary-aged students. Bailie most recently has worked behind the scenes supporting rangatahi from within the education curriculum centre of the public sector as well as providing academic advice within a university. Bailie has a background in educational psychology from Te Herenga Waka, Victoria University of Wellington, which informs her non-judgmental, inclusive, and genuine approach to working with ākonga.
