Liam Henderson is a tutor on The Learning Connexion’s Urban Art Certificate in Art & Design programme (Level 3), bringing a deep passion for street art and creative expression into the studio.
Drawn to making from a young age, Liam found his artistic direction in his early teens through graffiti and urban art culture. What began as experimentation quickly developed into a dedicated practice, shaping his style and approach to art-making. His work is influenced by the energy, scale, and immediacy of the street, and he continues to explore both traditional and contemporary techniques.
Liam is passionate about creating an environment where ākonga feel encouraged to take creative risks, develop their own voice, and push boundaries. His teaching focuses on building confidence, technical skills, and an understanding of urban art as both a personal and cultural form of expression.
