Colour Theory & Composition - T2.27

About the class
Explore how colour and composition work - how to control them & how to use them intentionally in your art. You'll investigate the importance of tone, limited palettes, light, moods, colour & pigment, using examples from contemporary and classical artists.
Start to build your signature palette by identifying your own colour preferences, choosing “hero colours” and creating a palette library!
Exercises include creating a small study using a deliberate colour scheme, based on intentional mood and showing clear temperature shifts. This can be done on either on a traditional surface or using a digital device.
