‘Art for Art's Sake’ has been well known to Wellingtonians for great prints and quality framing forever. They are now based on Cambridge Terrace (just off Courtenay Place) and have come up with a great offer for students of The Learning Connexion!
By showing your Student ID card, you can receive a 15% discount on framing! The premises now also include a café, and they are looking for original quality artworks to display. One wall will be available for exhibiting for month-long time frames. No hire charge - just a 30% commission payable from any work sold!
The other wall will be used for ‘interchangable’ artworks, so maybe a group of three or four artists' work that will go up and down over the month. Sounds like a good opportunity to me!
