I love the
process of making art. The infinite number of possible paths and outcomes
serve as a reminder to me that in life, as well as in art, we have the freedom
to pursue our own way. When I make art, I feel I truly experience the power
of that freedom.
I understand that each of us has a unique story and point of departure for the development of our creativity and I value an opportunity to work with people who have diverse backgrounds, interests and goals; I believe that differing perspectives and experience can create compelling dialogues, thus producing all the more vital works of art.
Through my exploration as an artist and tutor, I have come to understand that anything is attainable if engendered with passion, commitment, patience and knowledge.
I am thrilled to be a member of a culture and community that is richly and passionately invested in nurturing the development of the creative process in all people. I believe that when each of us is given the vocabulary, tools and confidence to find the means to express ourselves, amazing things happen.
I am delighted to take part in this process; it is an honor to witness, support and contribute to the burgeoning of artistic expression.
