I was drawn to art as I felt it was a means of speaking without words. Painting became my way to express myself, a way to communicate: a voice. I paint when I am sad, confused, excited, angry and joyful. It helps me to understand myself, and the world around me. It is my way of thinking about something and then giving voice to that think.
Being a tutor, for me, means helping others to find their voice.
