I came to TLC as a mid life student in 1998 and have been a tutor here since 2001. I teach the Portraiture and Icon painting classes here at TLC as well as being a long distance mentor and take great pleasure in helping people believe that they are creative at a deep level. It is my firm belief that it is creativity and caring that will solve the worlds problems and make us feel good about ourselves and I do whatever I can to help encourage that. My personal art making is now veering towards abstraction and symbolism. I enjoy being open to new media and methods of expression and am grateful to TLC for the opportunities to continue to develop as an artist and a person.
