The Learning Connexion’s Kids Art Holiday Programme is timed just right to keep your kids happy, engaged and having creative holiday fun!
Our holiday programme is taught by our experienced, colourful and creative tutors. Held at our vibrant Taita campus, we provide children with an unforgettable, authentic art school experience that nurtures the creativity and wellbeing of each student.
This is a hugely popular programme so book today to secure your child's place.

Dates: 15 to 19 April and 22 to 26 April 2024 (No classes on ANZAC Day)
Times: 9:00AM – 3:00PM
Cost: $65.00 per day
WEEK 1
Monday - Felting Fun
Come and create your very own fun, vibrant and colourful felted friend! Make a bunny, a whimsical house or your favourite character…the possibilities are endless!
Tuesday - Cardboard Construction
Build a robot, a city or a castle for your favourite pet using our mountain of cardboard. If you can imagine it, you can create it!
Wednesday - Paper Mosaics
Recreate your favourite artwork or come up with your own design to develop a beautiful mosaic out of tiny pieces out of paper and card.
Thursday - Wall Hangings
Use our awesome array of fabric to create your very own wall hanging. Whether it’s an owl, a wreath or something fresh from your imagination, let’s see you construct an art piece to hang proudly on your wall.
Friday - Clay Monsters
Have you always wanted a ceramic figurine of your very own character? Come along and sculpt them out of clay and paint them to look exactly how you always imagined them.
WEEK 2
Monday - Neon Painting
Have fun creating bold and colourful Pop Art inspired paintings. Some colours will even fluoresce under black light!
Tuesday - Ceramic Surprise
Wow us, and yourselves, with an amazing ceramic sculpture! There are no limits to what you make using your block of clay, so get creative!
Wednesday - Tie and Dye
Let’s get funky with tie dye! Bring in your favourite white t-shirt, calico bag or pair of socks and enjoy transforming them into colourful works of art!
Thursday
Closed for ANZAC Day
Friday - K-Wow
Prepare to hit the Kids Art Programme catwalk with your own fabulous wearable art creations. Let your inner designer come out and slay.

Our programme is OSCAR approved, meaning that there are WINZ subsidies available if you need help meeting costs. Please note that OSCAR subsidy forms will need to be sent to us prior to the holiday programme starting, to ensure they can be processed.
Kids' Holiday Programme and Children's Art Classes: Terms & Conditions
Cancellation Policy
All classes need a minimum number to go ahead. If a class is cancelled, we will let you know two working days prior to the scheduled start date. If a class is cancelled, you may transfer to another available class, or you will receive a refund.

Please note: Parents must give 24 hours’ notice if their child will not be attending booked sessions. Failure to do this will mean the full fee for days booked will still be charged. Occasionally classes are cancelled due to insufficient numbers. If this happens, we will contact you and offer you a refund or credit for another session/class.
