We offer the Diploma of Art and Creativity (Honours) and an Advanced Diploma of Art and Creativity.
The Diploma of Art and Creativity (Honours) is a two and a half year full time course or a five year part time course.
Students start at the Foundation level, learning about basic technical and creative skills and then move on to more independent projects at Stage One and Stage Two levels before graduation. Students learn by doing. All our classes are hands-on, giving students real skills they can apply immediately. The aim is to empower students by drawing out, rather than stuffing information in.
Our Stage Three Advanced Diploma is a one year full time or two year part time course that builds on the Diploma of Art and Creativity (Honours) - but is open to students who have completed equivalent work elsewhere. The Advanced Diploma is a studio based intensive that embraces all media and focuses on materials and processes, where the practice is the theory.
Across all our courses, our main aims for our students are:
The Certificate of Art and Creativity ensures students are equipped with the key skills that are used throughout the Diploma programme. It is the initial small step towards a creative future ensuring a thorough grounding in art and creativity techniques. The only prerequisite for joining at the Foundation level is commitment.

The goal of the Diploma of Art and Creativity is to use art to develop a thorough grasp of the principles of creativity. The syllabus includes a wide range of art skills although the primary emphasis is on the creativity components. During this stage students focus on the application and integration of techniques with personal creative goals. Students wishing to enrol in the Diploma of Art and Creativity without first completing the Certificate of Art and Creativity must show evidence of prior learning.

The Honours year is about applying your particular creative preferences to career development. The practical application of creativity is stressed in every aspect of the course. The overall outcome is that the student can think and work to produce creative and effective results in his or her chosen field of action. Direct entry into the Honours year is possible if you can provide evidence that you have already met some of the course goals.

The Advanced Diploma focuses on art as process rather than product. Participants in the course will engage with experimental ideas and activities that emphasize the techniques, methods and operations as crucial to the significance of the work. In this way, students will find their assumptions challenged, their practice de-familiarized, and ultimately radicalized.
